Benefits for employees

FULL TIME EMPLOYEES

Full time employees are defined as an employee working 30 or more hours per week during a school or calendar year.  These employees are eligible for the following benefits also detailed in the document 2024 Summary Benefits for Full Time Employees.

INSURANCE

When am I eligible?  You’re eligible for medical and dental insurance on the 1st of the month following your date of hire.  If your hire date is the 1st of a month, you’re eligible for benefits on that day. Employees must work 30 or more hours every single week of the year to retain eligibility. Eligibility for the following year will be determined in October. It is the employee's responsibility to ensure they are maintaining 30 hours each week.

How do I enroll or decline?  Once you’ve been set up in the Paylocity system, you will be sent an email from Human Resources with instructions on how to enroll or decline.

What am I eligible for?  You’re eligible for medical and dental as well as the other benefits listed below.

HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT

If you enroll in our insurance and you’re under 65, we will automatically open a HSA for you on your behalf with Health Equity.

If you’re over 65, we will open a HRA with Health Equity on your behalf.

403b RETIREMENT PLAN

If you are full time, you will be auto-enrolled at a 2% deferral rate that will start on your first or second paycheck.  If you wish to change your deferral, you will need to log into your One America account at  //pages.oneamerica.com/archindyretire.  If you’re a new hire, you will not be able to access your account until after you’ve received your 2nd paycheck. Part-time, season or temporary employees who move to full-time status must also contact One America to begin contributions.

You are auto-enrolled into the Basic Group Life plan.  You can purchase voluntary life insurance during open enrollment each year.
