Heart to Heart

One needs not eyes to see the light,
Nor ears to hear the truth.
Love leads hearts through blackest night,
Beyond our realm of proof.

The tether binding heart to heart
Exists outside of time,
Flowing from the heart of God
Beyond the grasp of mind.

The bond of love transcends this world’s
Anger, hate, and spite,
And stretches to eternity,
When freed from earthly life.
