My Journey to God

Our Holy Mother’s Gentle Touch

Our Holy Mother has a gentle touch,
A touch of love, a touch of grace.
And it really doesn’t matter much—
The wayward child she’ll still embrace.

Her hands are busy mending things,
Tattered clothes or broken hearts.
She deals with all the little things
That divide our days in many parts.

I think that God does surely give
Our Blessed Mother an extra touch.
Her perpetual help will cause to live
The faith, hope and love we need so much.

We pray, Holy Mary, that your gift of love
Will heal the wounds we have sustained.
Please hasten back from up above,
You whom the Father has acclaimed.
