I agree that the future of parish staffing can look frightening, and I also agree that it is an opportunity for each parish community to come even more alive in participation.  I hope to find some way in which I can be of service in helping my pastor in the future.  A great deal of prayer is in order, but it's going to take more than prayer to keep up with all of the tasks involved in our growing parishes.

This may be a source of fear for some and a source of anger for others.
This can also be a source for a new understanding of God's Revelation.

I suggest prayer, open-mindedness and faith.
